Hello, glad you could stop by. Come on in, browse around and don't forget to send us an e-mail and include your url so we can repay the visit. ;o) .

This angel was adopted for this page to say thank you to the men and women who serve in the military.  This page is not an opinion about war or whether we should or should not be in Yugoslavia or any other place our military has gone.  It is about our people who go when our government calls them.   These people are all someone's husbands, wives, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, granddaughters and grandsons.  Because they may not be yours makes them no less important.  They are there for you.  They do not choose their battles, but are there to give their lives when called.

The freedoms that we enjoy in the United States today did not just happen, they have been bought with the blood and lives of American people.  They have served under great hardships and endured much pain and many trials.    Many have never come home and some come home disabled and greatly changed.  They have seen horrible things you and I could probably never imagine.  They have done these things for you and for me.

If you enjoy your freedom of speech, freedom to choose religion, ability to move about freely, freedom of making a living of your choice, freedom of choice of anything,  then you also bear the responsibility to realize what bought you that freedom.  You bear the responsibility of being grateful to these people of service.  Feeling sorrow for those who had died,  compassion for their families, thankful to those who are still with us, and supporting those who are continuing the fight and hardships to make sure that everything before has not been in vain.  To make sure that America keeps her freedom.  To make sure you keep the freedoms and rights that you take for granted everyday.

So, to all of you serving in the United States Military, I thank you.   I pray you will be safe in the arms of our Lord.

My Military Angel was adopted at Touch of Heaven.  Go see their website.  You may find an angel you want to adopt.
